The Coraopolis Community Development Corporation (CCDC) works toward the equitable growth and revitalization of Coraopolis by providing residents with tools to lead to self-sufficiency; continuing to grow the town’s business district; and improving the overall quality of life in our community!

What they do

​They work with a food pantry, train restoration project, community garden, and many more. They also host host events and do their best to support and uplift small businesses in the area

What they do

Central Outreach Wellness Center offers rapid PrEP starts, PreP, HIV testing, Hep C Testing, and STD testing in Pittsburgh, Aliquippa, Erie, and Washington, Pennsylvania as well as in Cleveland Heights and Columbus, Ohio. Central Outreach Wellness Center is a holistic, multicultural, LGBTQIA, HIV & Hep C health organization

We have a box that we put hair clippings in that we send to an organization call Hum Sum through Matter of Trust. They use those hair clippings to make mats that clean up oil spills!

What do they do?

They offer Adoption services by appointment, barn cat services for outdoor cats that can’t aclimate to indoor life, and they offer surrender services for people who are not able to care for their cats anymore.

How can I give back to them?

They are a completely donation and volunteer run shelter so to keep themselves running they have donations, merch, foster services, and volunteer opportunities

Their Mission

To dismantle the cycles of systemic oppression and marginalization impacting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) transgender and nonbinary communities by providing holistic, trans-led, and gender-affirming care. Through innovative housing initiatives, community-centered programming, and advocacy, Sisters PGH works to create sustainable solutions that empower individuals to thrive, disrupt the nonprofit industrial complex, and build futures rooted in equity, care, and radical inclusion.

What they do
